TGIF!! It is a cold rainy day here in Cleveland!! Time to start pulling out the winter clothes!!
I have been taken technique classes with my SU! rep. So I wanted to pass on some of the ones we are learning. This was the easiest (for me at least!)
Poppin' Pastels
Here are the supplies you need
First stamp on white cardstock using versamark
Chalk the q-tip
Rub the color onto the stamped image
And TADA!!
I like mine a little messy..... but you can use a chalk eraser to clean it up a bit.
Thanks for looking

I really need to try this. I almost never pull out my chalk to use. I always end up smearing it.
Welcome to "blog-world!"
One of the first techniques I learned was popping pastels, and like Heather, I have not used my chalks in awhile. Although an idea just "popped" in my head. :)
Where abouts in Cleveland are you? My SIL is in the Avon area. My DD and I are planning on making a trip up next weekend to Crocker Park for their Fine Arts and Wine fest.
Looking forward to getting to know you!
I love this technique! It is so fun and nice for those stamps that are solid but need different colors. So much easier than coloring on all the parts with markers.
Hi from one of your new SCS blogger friends! Great demo with the chalks, it is a great technique, isn't it.
I love chalk (:
You asked what set my teddy bear was from and I think it was from Button Teddy. He is retired so you can purchase him on ebay. I would just type in Stampin Up teddy bear. Hope that helps (:
I was just thinking I needed to get out my pastels and play. They were one of my first SU purchases-that and a blender pen. Ugh!!! I really need to get off the computer and go play with my pastels!!!
Hey Lin, great job on the chalking! Sometimes it turns out less messy if you dab rather than rub, but usually mine is messy too :)
