Burst of Birthhday blue and BLOG CANDY DAY 2!!

On Friday I come home to an big box sitting on my steps. I bring it in a try as I might the kids just would not let open it!! Saturdays are always crazy so finally last night I get to open it . I was so excited to see BOTH my blue color burst and another birthday present.

Long Weekend & Faux Silk

Oh thank god that weekend is over!!LOL
Friday me and my SIL took the kids to the mall trick or treating.
As you can see the kids had a great time.Then me and the kids got sick so not much fun going on around here.
I did manage to start my faux silk ATC's for my second spot in the Technique ATC swap.



So whada think???
This is another one of my favorite techniques and super easy!

Technique ATC's - Paper sewing

I hate Mondays!!
I went to the USPS to mail a package. I like to use priority mail so I had everything all ready to go. After waiting in line forever I get to the counter and realize that I had forgotten to put the address label on........ ok no big deal I get a priority stamp to put on it..... come home grab the label and dash to the box down the street..... get there throw it in...... get back in the car and what is staring me in the face........ yep you guessed it the stamp. So now I have to wait for it to come back to me!! GGRRRR A classic Monday!!!

Well here is another swap I got done this weekend,technique ATC's. Looks like all I did this weekend was ATC's!! I swear I did more!! LOL Anyway for my first spot I did paper sewing which is one of my all time favorite techniques.


I used the bazzil stitching templates and bazzil bling cardstock. Also I doodled in the petals and leaf to create a more real look to them.

Weekend! & Blog Candy help!

I am working on an idea for blog candy. I am going to do 10 days of give aways November 1st through the 10th (for my birthday) and then once a week after that. So my question to all of you is what kind of things do you like to see as blog candy??
